Crock Pot Cake

You don't even have to turn on the stove for this one!

Crockpot Cake
Cake
1 cake mix, any brand, any flavor ( I used Betty Crocker Super Moist Butter Recipe Yellow)
1 small box instant pudding; use the same flavor as the cake (I used Jello Coconut-Cream pudding mix)
12 ounces sour cream
4 eggs
3/4 cups oil
1 tsp coconut extract (optional)
1 cup water
You don't even have to turn on the stove for this one!
Generously spray the inside of your crackpot with nonstick cooking spray. Mix all ingredients together and pour in crockpot. Cook on low for about 6 hours. Turn crockpot off and let sit for about 1 to 2 hours. Then you can flip it out onto a plate. If you don't let it cool long enough before taking it out of the crockpot half of the cake will stay in the crock. You can eat it warm topped with ice cream or cooled down with whipped topping.
I made my old stand-by Sweet Whipping Cream - it's always good. The recipe is below.
That's it!! It was super easy and really good. It's pretty moist so I think a Choc cake/ Choc Pudding mix would be even better (Think Lava Cake)
Sweet Whipping Cream
1 c heavy cream
2 tbsp confectioners' sugar (optional)
2 tsp vanilla extract
Whip the cream until soft peaks form, add sugar and vanilla any time after you have started to beat. Whipped cream will keep in the refrigerator for several hours, but it's a good idea to store it in a strainer set over a bowl so that the liquid that accumulates will drain off.

Thanks! I will definitely be trying this out. Some people are so surprised that you can make anything in the crock pot other than soups and roasts. I just know they are going to love this cake.

I would love to make this ASAP, but I need to know what size crockpot you used. I have the standard round and a large oval and a small one for dips. Stupid questions are the ones you don't ask and I would hate to waste any of this cake.
