BBQ Grill Cupcakes

Found these cute little cupcakes over at Family Fun Magazine. You've seen them. Not really a recipe but just another cute idea for Father's Day.

cake mix
frosting to ice cup cake
Caramel Creams
Dots candies
Hot Tamale candies
Tootsie Rolls
Oreo crumbs for charcoal
Pop Rocks for embers (pink)
powdered sugar
Make your cupcakes according to package directions. Let cool. Ice cupcake with chocolate frosting and sprinkle with oreo crumbs and pop rocks. Using powdered sugar, mix in a drop of food coloring and water until you have the consistency you need to pipe icing. Transfer icing to decorating bag or plastic baggie and pipe on grate lines onto each cupcake and let them set for about 20 minutes.
Vegetable Kebabs = I used cut up Dots (I did not use toothpicks because I didn't want any accidents, I just lined them up next to each other).
Pork Chops = I used Caramel Creams, cut them in half and molded them with fingers.
Hot Dogs = I used Hot tamales, cut them in half and using black food coloring applied with a toothpick made some grill marks

Really easy, you can do it for Dad!
