Over The Top PB Brownies

These are over the top chocolate peanut butter bars of bliss...if you like that kind of stuff. My little one looovvvves peanut butter, and she is gonna loves these.
Brownie *
1/2 lb (2 sticks) unsalted butter
2 1/2 c packed light brown sugar
6 oz unsweetened chocolate
4 lg eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 c chopped salted peanuts
Preheat oven to 325º. Butter the bottom of your 9x13" baking pan; cut a piece of waxed paper to fit bottom and press it onto buttered surface. In large micro-wave safe bowl, combine butter, brown sugar and chocolate. Microwave on high for 1 minute, stir. If chocolate is not softened, continue to microwave at 10- second intervals, removing before it's completely melted.
Beat eggs and vanilla into melted chocolate with a wooden spoon. Beat in flour and salt. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth top, sprinkle peanuts over top. Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out almost clean, 35-40 minutes. Let cool completely.
*Feel free to use a boxed Brownie mix
PB Layer

To make chocolate frosting, beat together all of the ingredients in a medium sized bowl. When frosting looks silky smooth, spread it on your peanut butter layer. Sprinkle top of layer with chopped up Mini Peanut Butter Cups. Refrigerate until set and then cut into squares and serve.

There must be a misprint in the recipe. It calls for a cup of powdered milk. It must mean a cup of powdered sugar. The milk made it nasty. Through it out and used sugar. Much much better.
