Snicker Popcorn

It's game day today and of course I am always looking for some new snack to feed these football fans. Many years ago I had this popcorn at a Christmas Bazaar and loved it but never thought of making it. Fished out an old recipe and finally made it....perfect for game day don't ya think?
8 quarts of air popped corn (about 2 c of uncooked kernels)
1c salted butter
2c light brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 c light corn syrup
1 tsp baking soda
1c salted peanuts
30 Fun sized Snicker candy bars (chopped into cubes)
Preheat oven to 200º
Pop pop corn and pour into large baking pan - set aside. Over medium heat boil butter, brown sugar, salt and corn syrup for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add baking soda - stir to blend in.
Pour mix over popped pop corn and gently stir to coat evenly. Sprinkle peanuts on top and stir again to incorporate everything.
Transfer popcorn to large roasting pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours - stirring every 15 minutes( it's a little tedious but set your timer and you'll be ok).
Finally remove from oven and mix in chopped up Snickers. Remove from pan onto counter lined with wax paper. Now let it cool to set up. I packed mine up in individual bags in case they don't wanna share :)

Store in air tight container.
