Heath Ritz Bars

I have been eyeing this recipe for awhile and have seen it everywhere. This is such an easy recipe and will be perfect for any get togethers you will be having soon. You will never convince people that these are made with Ritz crackers. If you like my Cracker Toffee you will loooove these.
1 pkg Heath Chocolate English Toffee bits
2 sleeves of Ritz crackers
1 can sweet condensed milk
chopped pecans
canned chocolate frosting
Spray a baking pan with cooking spray and set aside ( I used an 9x13" pan).
Crush 2 sleeves of Ritz crackers into fine crumbs, either with food processor or throw them into a gallon ziploc bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
In a large bowl mix crackers, toffee bits and can of sweetened condensed milk - stir to blend. Using my fingers I pressed the mix into the prepared pan, just push it along until it's even.

Bake in a 350º oven for 15-20 minutes until it gets golden, don't let it brown though. Now the hard part......wait....wait for a couple of hours until it cools down completely or it will fall apart when you try to cut it.
I used a cup of canned frosting and melted it in microwave. Pour over top and sprinkle it with chopped pecans. Let frosting set up - about another hour. Now eat it!

These are great! Do they need to be stored in the fridge?

Debbie,
I did not refrigerated them, but they were gone pretty quick :) Don't think you need to, just make sure they are in covered container at room temp.
