Mexican Tamales!

Just a quick pic - I will post recipes later if anyone is interested! There is nothing like a plate of hot tamales and a cup of coffee on New Years Day! We use to make tamales on New Year's Eve every year before Mom died. Sadly that tradition sort of died with her, occasionally Dad or one of the sisters will be brave enough to get everyone together to make them. They are a labor of love I have to say.
My little family has decided to try to make this one of our new traditions! It went well, lots of work...that was expected with three kids and hubby right? :)  No wonder she only made these once a year!!
They were good and I think we will be making them again...hopefully next time they will be easier :)
