French Market

After the cold last night we were happy to see the sun today. We took the trolly out to the French Market, shopped around at flea market and stopped and had lunch at The French Market Restaurant Bar. It's a family owned place that has been around since 1803. They serve outstanding authentic Louisiana food,  I had a muffuletta loaf - a sub made with a marinated olive salad with layers of capicola, salami, provolone, and other sausages.  I like mine warm with all the cheese melted.  One of the teens had this amazing homemade Cheeseburger, hand formed on a 8"french bread. Went down to the Flea Market for some shopping and roasted corn. Lots more food to get through - I will show you more tomorrow.
