This one was too good to pass up. A thick creamy marshmallow shake. Wow! It was so good! This is from The Stand diner in New York. They say the food is good but I'm sure everyone goes there for this shake. Here it is.
Get all of the ingredients mixed in the blender and then toast your marshmallows. You want your marshmallows gooey and hot when you throw them in the blender, so they mix in. You don't want them to harden and become too sticky when they cool down.
3 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 tablespoon whole milk
1 large dollop of plain yogurt
5 Kraft Jumbo Jef-Puffed marshmallows (didn't have jumbo marshmallows so I just toasted mini's - still delicious)
Toast marshmallows over a flame until they just start to color evenly (make sure they're evenly toasted, but not turned to charcoal).
Put milk, yogurt, and ice cream into the blender. Blend carefully, just until you see the shake holding to the sides of the blender with a hollow core.
Add three of the toasted marshmallows to the blender, and whirl it just until they’re all broken up and distributed evenly. Be careful not to overblend it, causing it to be too watery.
Pour into a glass, top with whipped cream and the last two toasted marshmallows ( cut in half ). Serve with an extra-wide straw and a spoon.
