Nutella Pinwheels!

Nutella Pinwheels! They are so cute and versatile. You can make them savory with cheese, onions or even meat . I love them sweet of course, chocolate, nuts, cherries...the possibilities are endless. The secret to pretty pinwheels is chilling them long enough. Chill them for about 30 minutes and then they will keep their shape when you cut them into slices.
1 can refrigerated dough
1/2 small jar of Nutella
1/2 c chopped nuts (opt)

Roll out your dough and spread Nutella over it leaving about 1/2" edge, so it doesn't ooze out. I loaded mine up and it still didn't seep out. Sprinkle it with nuts if you like - I used pecans. Roll it up jelly roll style and put it in refrigerator for about 30 minutes. After it has chilled take it out and slice into 1" slices. Place slices on a parchment lined cookie sheet and bake for about 12 minutes or until they are golden and done.

F.Y.I.  I used these Seamless Dough Sheets from Pillsbury! Easy and they rolled out perfectly!

How did you know I'm in love with Nutella!?! Have you tried this recipe with puff pastry instead of the pie dough? I bet that would be just as sinfully delish too! :-)
