I know we all love brownies, especially my little one. I wanted to make brownies but wanted to shake them up a bit. I looked around and found this recipe....how could I pass it up....chocolate, creamy peanut butter AND peanut butter cups! Well here it is in all it's peanut butter glory. I think she LOVED them:)
1 1/3 c brown sugar
1/4 c melted butter
1/2 c peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 eggs
1 1/2 c flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
36 mini peanut butter cups
1/2 c milk chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350º and grease bottom of 9x13" baking dish. On medium speed - beat together sugar, peanut butter, butter, vanilla, and eggs until totally mixed. Blend flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together. Add dry ingredients to your peanut butter mix.
Cut peanut butter cups into quarters and gently stir by hand into brownie batter along with chocolate chips. Spread into baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until tester comes out fairly clean
Remove from oven and quickly press the rest of your peanut butter cups into the baked brownies. Let brownies cool completely before cutting and serving.
