This time of the year is usually crazy busy for Big Daddy so if I am posting too frequently it's because I am feeling sorry for the long nights everyone is putting in. I can only help out by sending them some sugar....chocolate can only make it better right? Add coconut and condensed milk....yeah they are happy today. These bars are too easy - kid stuff. Really, only six ingredients. This is all you need.
3 c graham cracker crumbs (yes you can buy them already crumbled, otherwise pulse about 20 crackers until they are fine crumbs )
1 1/2 sticks of unsalted butter, melted
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 c semisweet chocolate chips
2 c sweetened coconut flakes
1 1/2 c sweet condensed milk
Preheat oven to 350º and spray a 9x13 pan; set aside ( I just used a springform cheesecake pan so I could remove it easier)
In a large bowl mix together crumbs, melted butter and salt until combined. Spoon mix into prepared pan and then using fingers press into bottom and up the sides a little.
Now sprinkle coconut all over crust, sprinkle chocolate chips over your coconut.
and finally, pour condensed milk over your mixture.
Bake 25-30 minutes of until edges are lightly browned. Let it set before you cut it into bars or slices - mine set after about 2 hours.
See....I told you it was easy.
