Oreo truffles

I know we've seen these before. I've always wanted to make them and since I am trying out ideas for Valentines day I thought I would give them a shot.
Super easy and they look so elegant in the black that I thought they would look perfect packaged up for a sweetie or two.

1 (16 oz)pkg Oreo cookies
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
1 (10 oz) bag of Candy Melts ( I used Wilton's Midnight Black)
melted white chocolate for drizzling

In food processor, chop up Oreos(with filling) until they resembles fine crumbs. If you don't have a food processor, just pound them in a ziploc bag. Stir in cream cheese and mix until you have your dough. Remove the dough and shape into 1" balls, chill for at least an hour.
Melt your chocolate bark and start dipping balls in one by one. I roll the around with spoon then fish them out with a fork so excess chocolate can drip off through the tines. Set them on wax paper to set.
Drizzle them with your choice of melted chocolate and store in refrigerator.

Mickey, can I be one of your Sweetie Pie's so I can get some of these delicious treasures?!? :-) I too have been drooling over these truffles every time I see them....guess I need to make them soon (like for Valentine's Day) so I can eat some and stop drooling on my computer screen. :-)

Happy Sunday!

Yours look like they were made by a gourmet chocolate shop. Wish I was the lucky recipient.
