Little one wanted cookies yesterday.....but.... the day flew by and I didn't even remember to make them. Decided to throw some cookies together for her today.
Some people call them "Trash Cookies" or "Everything but the Sink Cookies" even "Cowboy Cookies" - call them what you like and make them your own. I just added all her favorites : m&ms, chocolate chips, pretzels, and mini peanut butter cups. She will love coming home from school with these waiting for her :)
Just used the good Old Toll House recipe below
2 1/4 c flour
1tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 c (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 c sugar
3/4 c brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 lg eggs
1 c choc chips
and 1/2 c each of the rest of your trash :)
Preheat oven to 375º
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl - set aside. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in a large bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chips and extras. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes then remove to cool completely.
