Red Velvet Pokey

Saw this on Pinterest and it immediately caught my eye. I changed it up a little but  you can go over to The Country Cook and check out her original recipe plus a bunch of other "Poke Cake" ideas :)
1 box Red Velvet cake mix
1 (3.4 oz) box of vanilla pudding
1 container of Cream Cheese Frosting
1 (8oz) tub of Cool Whip
Oreo cookies (crushed)
Preheat oven to 350º, grease a 9x13" pan and set aside. Bake cake according to directions. Remove cake and let it sit out and cool down for about 5 minutes. Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over top of cake. Now make your pudding and pour all over top of cake. Spread evenly. Refrigerate until set - about 15 minutes.
Stir frosting up then empty into bowl, add CoolWhip and mix until completely blended.  Frost the top of cake and sprinkle with crushed Oreo cookies. Cover the whole thing and refrigerate overnight.
They were amazing ..... so they had to go......I had to pack them up for Big Daddy....they had to go :D
