Sour Cream and Onion Chicken

My nine year old - the budding cook wanted to make this for dinner tonight. A simple quick chicken recipe that she learned in a cooking class she took over the summer. The chicken was moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Try it with your kids, they will love it!

Preheat oven to 350*
2c crushed sour cream and onion flavored potato chips
1 egg
1 tbsp sour cream
2 tbsp milk
6 chicken breast fillets (cut into nugget sized chunks)
1/3 c butter, melted (I used spray butter and just spritzed chicken)

Put chips into a ziploc bag and crush them to make 2 cups, pour them into a shallow plate and set aside. Beat together egg, milk and sour cream in a shallow bowl. Now dip chicken into egg mix and then dredge in the crushed chips. Place chicken nuggets on baking sheet/pan and drizzle with melted butter. Bake nuggets (uncovered) for 15-18 minutes until golden brown. We kept our chicken in it's breast form, just cook uncovered for 45min in a 350* oven or until golden and done. Serve with your favorite sauce.

Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
3/4 c mayo
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp oj
Combine everything except oj. - stir to blend, add a little oj to thin to a pouring consistency for dipping. Cover and chill. Add your favorite sides and Enjoy!

Where does the sour cream called for in the chicken recipe go?

I would assume in the egg/milk mixture

Ooops sorry, fixed it. You are correct. Just add to milk mix.
Thanks,
