Fruit Sorbet

This one is quick, low fat and can be low sugar depending on how ripe your fruit is. Totally refreshing, this will satisfy that sweet tooth.

Fruit Sorbet
3 cups chopped, peaches and strawberries
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp lemon juice

Combine fruit, sugar, water, and lemon juice in a blender; process for about a minute, until sugar has dissolved.  Freeze in an ice cream freezer according to manufacturer's directions.  Transfer to a freezer container and freeze for one hour or until firm.

I used frozen fruit and didn't even have to freeze it - the kids ate it immediately.
Makes about 6 cups
