Tortilla Stars with Peanut Apple Dip

I've made these cutouts for Halloween (little ghosts and bats) for years but thought they would be great as little star's this summer. Hey it's summer, the kids are celebrating! These are quick and easy and they love them, of course.

6 flour tortillas

1/2 c apple butter
2 tsp apple juice
cinnamon sugar
melted butter
1/3 c crunchy peanut butter (I used smooth)
1 Tbsp chopped peanuts (opt)

Heat oven to 350º. With desired cookie cutter or kitchen shears, cut tortilla into whatever shape you like. Place them on cookie sheet and brush both sides of tortilla shapes with melted butter. Sprinkle them with cinnamon sugar and bake until golden brown and they start looking crispy, about 10 minutes or so. Cool completely.
In small bowl mix apple juice, apple butter and peanut butter until completely blended. Sprinkle peanuts on top of finished dip if you like. Serve with your cinnamon cut outs.

Hi Myrna!
oh even the tortilla scraps {from making the cutouts} would disappear with this dip!
Take care!
