Stain-Glass Rocky Road

Wow! How time flies! It's Week 10 of Our 12 Weeks of Christmas!

We are going on three weeks of construction so I am scrambling here....just looking around for something different, quick and easy, something for our Christmas tray, right? I saw these beauties and HAD to try them. They will look so pretty on your tray and they will be gone in seconds.

1 bag (11oz) Ghirardelli white choc chips
1 c chopped pistachios
1 c chopped dried cranberries
1/2 bag (10.5 oz) multi colored mini marshmallows
I even chopped up a couple of red and green gummy worms - truly optional :)
Use as much of one or the other, you can add different nuts and fruits too.
Line a pan with wax paper- leave a little of a overhang for easy removal. Lightly toast your pistaschio nuts.
Chop up nuts, cranberries, and marshmallows - set aside in mixing bowl.
Melt your white chocolate and pour it over your marshmallow mix. Stir until everything is completely covered.
Now pour into your waxed covered pan, smooth it even with a spoon.
Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
Place on cutting board, peel off paper and cut into squares. So pretty right?

What gorgeous treats. Those colors really are very pretty and eye-catching. I would never have thought to add gummy worms but think I'd enjoy that chewy texture as a contrast to the rest. By the way, I'm holding a giveaway on my blog for Orglamix Organic makeup and you're welcome to come by and enter. http://sweet-as-sugar-cookies.blogspot.com/2010/12/orglamix-organic-mineral-makeup-review.html
