Blueberry Angel Food Cake

Some of you know I kinda like blueberries...and kinda like angelfood cake...combine them and it was kinda super and as usual, kinda super easy :)
1 bx angel food cake mix
1 1/2 c oj
1 1/2 c blueberries
1 tsp lemon juice
1/3 c brown sugar
Gently mix blueberries with lemon juice and brown sugar - set aside. Mix your angel food cake mix with 1 1/2 c oj - beat cake on low about 60 seconds, then on medium speed for a minute.
Pour blueberries into your baking pan (I used bundt pan) and then gently spoon angel cake batter over blueberry layer.
Bake at 325º for 37-47 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool cake completely in pan on wire rack. When cake has cooled, run a knife all around edges then place serving plate over top of bundt pan and invert to release cake.

Hi Mickey,

I am working with a brand to build an engaging content community that covers topics relating to parenting, fitness and health, recipes, fashion, beauty, home decor, party planning and crafts.

We’ve taken a read through your blog and we think you’ve done a fantastic job covering topics that our brand's audience would also be interested in covering. It would be great if you could join our community to help educate, inform and converse with those other parents who are writing about this topic.

If you would like to learn more about this, please send an email to info@atomicreach.com

Thanks,
Annette

Do you follow the angel food box recipe and add the orange juice to the angel food cake mix or is is just the orange juice?

Marty,
Just orange juice is all you need.
